HDPE Fittings — Butt-Fusion & Electrofusion (PE100)
Primepoly manufactures the complete PE100 HDPE fittings range — butt-fusion (spigot) and electrofusion elbows, tees, reducers, stub-end flanges, end caps and couplers, plus large-diameter fabricated fittings up to DN1200. All moulded or fabricated from the same virgin PE100 as the pipe for a fully homogeneous, leak-proof fused network.
Choose butt-fusion for larger bores and open trenches, or electrofusion where a fusion machine is impractical or space is tight. Each fitting page shows the type, dimensions and a real welding-demo video.
HDPE Fittings — FAQ
What is the difference between butt-fusion and electrofusion fittings?+
Butt-fusion fittings are heat-welded end-to-end with a fusion machine — best for DN63 and larger in open trenches. Electrofusion fittings have a built-in heating coil energised by a control box — ideal for repairs, tight spaces and where a butt-fusion machine can't fit.
What diameter range of HDPE fittings do you make?+
Moulded fittings from DN20 to DN630 and fabricated (sectioned-pipe) fittings from DN630 up to DN1200. Reducing and unequal configurations are available across the range.
Are the fittings the same PE100 grade as the pipe?+
Yes — fittings are moulded or fabricated from the same virgin PE100 / PE100-RC resin so the fused joint is as strong as the parent pipe, with a matched SDR for the pressure class.
Can you supply HDPE-to-steel or HDPE-to-flange transitions?+
Yes — stub-end (puddle) flanges with CS / SS304 / SS316 backing rings, and flange adaptors for connecting HDPE to valves, pumps, meters and steel / ductile-iron pipework.
