PP Fittings — Polypropylene Compression Pipe Fittings
Primepoly supplies polypropylene (PP) compression fittings for jointing HDPE and PE pipe without welding — couplings, elbows, tees, and male / female threaded adaptors. The tool-free mechanical joint is reusable and ideal for water supply, irrigation and repair work where fusion equipment isn't available.
PP compression fittings clamp onto the pipe with a split ring and O-ring seal for a fast, leak-tight, demountable connection. Ideal for small-diameter distribution and farm irrigation networks.
PP Fittings — FAQ
What are PP compression fittings used for?+
For jointing HDPE / PE pipe mechanically — no fusion machine or heat required. You simply tighten the compression nut. They are widely used on water-supply service lines, farm and drip irrigation, and quick field repairs.
What pipe sizes do PP compression fittings fit?+
Standard range DN20 to DN110 (20–110 mm OD) for PE / HDPE pipe. Threaded adaptors are available in BSP / NPT to connect to valves, meters and taps.
Are PP compression fittings reusable?+
Yes — because the joint is mechanical (split ring + O-ring), the fitting can be loosened and re-made, which makes it convenient for temporary lines, testing and repairs.
Can PP fittings be used on potable water lines?+
Yes — the PP body and EPDM / NBR seals are suitable for potable water. Confirm the seal material with us if the line carries anything other than clean water.
